Australian customers now have the ability to order the 2017 Ford Everest Titanium with a smaller 18-inch wheel and tyre package.
 
Instead of the standard 20-inch alloys, Everest Titanium buyers can now option 18 by 8.0-inch alloy wheel, which features increased sidewall on the tyre for greater comfort during off-road driving. A matching full-sized alloy spare wheel is also included.
 
The 18-inch alloy wheel is designed to tackle harsher terrain than the everyday blacktop.
 
The 18-inch wheel and tyre package also includes suspension revisions and Driver Assistance Technology re-calibrations to ensure optimum performance.
 
Other Everest Titanium specifications remain unchanged. It maintains an 800mm water wading capability, 3000kg towing capacity and Ford’s Terrain Management System.
 
The Everest Titanium is also equipped with a tyre pressure monitoring system, panoramic sunroof, and leather accented seats over the Ambiente and Trend variants.
 
In terms of safety and technology, the SYNC 3 infotainment system is standard which includes an 8-inch touchscreen with satnav and Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility.
 
Despite a very small price reduction, the Everest is priced at $74,701 before on-road costs. For those not looking to tackle the great outdoors, the rear-wheel drive Ambiente opens the range at $47,990 before on-roads.
