Updates and pricing for the 2017 Mazda CX-3 have been released and there’s now more bang for your buck.

Class-leading safety is the headline act in the 2017 Mazda CX-3 with new safety inclusions across the range. Smart City Brake Support Forward and Reverse is one to speak of as it is standard on all models. From the Maxx grade to the top-of-the-line, Blind Spot Monitoring (BSM) and Rear Cross Safety Alert (RCTA) i-ACTIVSENSE safety technologies are included. Driver Attention Alert (DAA) and Traffic Sign Recognition (TSR) round out the list and are found on the sTouring and Akari variants.

On the top-of-the-line Akari there is also the inclusion of Adaptive LED Headlamps and Front Parking Sensors to complete the upgraded safety inclusions.

A manual seat lifter, power seats with position memory, digital radio and a coloured Active Driving Display are all interior upgrades that can be found on selected grades across the range. There is also a redesigned steering wheel.

Adding to the upgrades are inclusions such as gun metallic coloured 18-inch alloy wheels, auto folding and heated mirrors for the high grades, folding side mirrors for the Maxx and Neo and a palette which now includes eight colour choices.

Under the bonnet, a 2.0-litre SKYACTIV-G petrol and a 1.5-litre SKYACTIV-D diesel engine deliver the power and are matched with a 6-speed SKYACTIV-MT manual or 6-speed SKYACTIV-Drive automatic transmission.

The new Mazda CX-3 is available in dealerships now.
