Italian luxury brand Maserati has announced the Quattroporte GTS Gransport Nerissimo Edition will be available to Australian buyers.

The Nerissimo Edition is effectively a black pack for the GTS that brings Luxuriant Nero Ribelle exterior paint with black piano finishing on the grille, front and rear bumper inserts, rear extractor, window surrounds, exhaust pipes, vertical grille bars and 21-inch Titano alloy wheels.

Other highlights include anodised red painted brake callipers and an exterior carbon package that covers the front splitter, rear splitter, door mirrors, door handles and the b-pillar trim.

On the inside, the GTS GranSport Nerissimo features 12-way powered sport seats, premium black leather upholstery with red contrast stitching, red embroidered trident logos on the headrests, a sport carbon steering wheel, carbon trim and an Alcantara headliner.

Power comes from a 3.8-litre V8 engine that develops 390kW and 650Nm, however, Maserati has included an over-boost function that lifts the torque figure to 710Nm available from 2250rpm. It’s fast enough, Maserati quote a 0 to 100km/h time of 4.7 seconds and a top speed of 310km/h.

Numbers are limited, only 50 will be produced and only five are heading Down Under.

The Maserati Quattroporte GranSport GTS Nerissimo Edition is available to order now priced from $371,990 plus on-road costs.
