Due to popular demand Volkswagen have confirmed 250 new 2018 Passat Alltrack Wolfsburg Editions will be available.
The new run sees a range of updates but the $54,990 (before on-road costs) price tag is maintained.
The Wolfsburg Edition comes with a 2.0-litre turbo engine producing 140kW/400Nm when the accelerator is pressed. This is paired with a six-speed wet clutch DSG and 4Motion all-wheel-drive.
On the upgrades list is a new generation infotainment system which features a 9.2-inch Discover Pro infotainment unit with Gesture Control, media control, two Apple compatible USB ports, manoeuvre braking and easy entry/easy exit function for electric seats with memory fuction.
The Wolfsburg Edition offers plenty of standard equipment over the Passat Alltrack 140TDI including black Nappa leather, Active Info Display, 19-inch Albertville alloy wheels, Adaptive Chassis Control, LED headlights with LED daytime running lights, premium LED tail lights, ambient interior lighting, automatic tailgate, titanium black headliner, brushed aluminium dash inserts, piano black centre console, steering wheel gear shift paddles, tinted (65%) rear windows and Wolfsburg crest badging.
There is also the option of a panoramic sun roof ($2000) and the choice of Atlanic Blue or Manganese Grey metallic paint ($700), Pure White is a no-cost option.
