Audi has announced an upgrade to the A5 45 TFSI quattro Sportback, Coupe and Cabriolet which adds a host of additional safety and convenience features.
 
Upgrades to the standard equipment list for the A5 45 TFSI quattro models include the S line exterior package, 19-inch alloy wheels, memory function for the driver seat and side mirrors, heated front seats, a phone box light with wireless charging and dual USB outlets for rear passengers.
 
Also upgraded were the standard driver assistance features which now include active lane assist, high beam assist, adaptive cruise control with traffic jam assist, park assist and a 360-degree camera system.
 
Audi claims the upgrades to the A5 45 TFSI quattro add more than $9000 worth of value, while pricing has been reduced and now starts at $78,900 (plus on-roads) for the Coupe and Sportsback.
 
A5 45 TFSI quattro models are powered by a 2.0-litre four-cylinder turbocharged petrol engine producing 185kW and 340Nm. A seven-speed dual-clutch transmission sends power to all four wheels.
 
All Audi A5 models get LED headlights, the virtual cockpit instrument cluster, MMI Navigation plus with 10GB media storage and two SDHC slots, and Audi connect with Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, DAB+ digital radio, convenience key and a 180w sound system.
