From 2019 the Honda CR-V VTi-S AWD will come equipped with the Honda Sensing Suite as standard.

Currently found on selected CR-V, Civic and Odyssey models, the Honda Sensing Suite includes six advanced safety technologies: lane departure warning, adaptive cruise control with low-speed follow, lane keep assist system, road departure mitigation, forward collision warning and autonomous emergency braking.

The VTi-S AWD will now join the range-topping VTi-LX in offering the full Honda Sensing package. To accommodate the additional safety, the VTi-S AWD will wear a $1000 price rise, meaning pricing will now start at $36,490 plus on-road costs.

Specifications for the VTi-S AWD will remain the same with the 1.5-litre turbo petrol engine, 18-inch alloy wheels, 7.0-inch infotainment screen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, electric tailgate, LaneWatch camera, satellite navigation, dual zone climate control, keyless entry with push start and a full-size spare wheel all standard.

Honda Australia has already announced the Honda Sensing Suite of active safety technologies will be fitted to all of its next-generation models.

The 2019 Honda CR-V VTi-S AWD will be on sale locally in Honda dealerships from January 1.
