Specs and pricing have been announced for the updated 2020 Mahindra PikUp range.

Exterior changes for 2020 include a new front grille, new static bending projection headlamps and the addition of daytime running LEDs with new fog light assembly.

The new PikUp boasts a 34-degree approach angle, a 1095kg payload and a 2.5 tonne braked towing capacity. Other highlights include Dana Spicer axels and a self-locking differential.

At launch four colours – Artic White, De-Sat Silver, Napoli Black and Red Rage – will be available.

Internally, the entry-level S6+ features cruise control, Bluetooth and upgraded fabric seats with the addition of armrests and drivers side height adjustment as standard.

A new Pastoral Pack is available for S6+ variants which adds a winch compatible steel bull bar with bash plate, side brush rails, snorkel, tow bar, canvas seat covers and a vinyl floor. Mahindra says the pack is aimed at rural, trade and fleet buyers.

The top-spec S10+ gets an upgraded 7.0-inch infotainment touchscreen with satellite navigation and a rear-view camera.

Powering the PikUp range is a 2.2-litre four-cylinder turbo-diesel engine offering 103kW of power and 320Nm of torque. It is mated with a six-speed manual gearbox.

All Mahindra PikUps are backed by a five-year/100,000km warranty with five-years roadside assist and a four-year/55,000km capped-price service program.
