Details of the updated 2020 Subaru Impreza have been revealed with pricing kicking off at $23,740 plus on-road costs.

The 2020 range will include 2.0i, 2.0i-L, 2.0i-Premium and 2.0i-S variants available in both sedan and hatch body styles.

All models have received a restyled grille, front bumper and front fog lights. There’s also a revised suspension tune, fresh alloy wheel designs and the addition of Magnetite Grey Metallic to the colour palette.

Interestingly, the dual-mode SI-Drive that allows the driver to switch between Sport and Intelligent drive modes to suit the driving situation is standard across the range.

Hatch variants also receive a smoked-finish to the rear combination light design.

In addition to the range-wide upgrades, the 2.0-L gets updated interior door trim surrounds and a better quality cloth trim.

The 2.0i-Premium grade gains a host of safety features including blind-spot monitoring, lane change assist, rear cross-traffic alert, reverse automatic braking as well as a front view monitor.

Top-spec 2.0i-S variants get an updated LED headlight design, automatic power-folding mirrors and an auto dipping passenger side mirror, memory for the driver’s seat, a stitched MFD visor and piano black air conditioning control surrounds.

The 115kW/196Nm 2.0-litre four-cylinder petrol engine, mated with the CVT transmission and all-wheel drive is carried over.

The 2020 Subaru Impreza range also gains a slight price bump over the outgoing model.
