Toyota has announced a running update to the 2021 Prado range which will reach showrooms from the middle of this month.

Following an upgrade at the end of last year, the GX and GXL variants now gain blind-spot monitoring and rear cross-traffic alert as standard, while the GX also nabs a chrome grille and puddle lights.

Moving up the range, the VX and Kakadu get new 19-inch alloy wheel designs.

Power continues to come from the 2.8-litre four-cylinder turbo-diesel engine producing 150kW and 500Nm. It’s mated exclusively to a six-speed automatic transmission.

The updated Prado will arrive in dealerships from next week.
