Honda Australia has announced an infotainment upgrade for the HR-V and Jazz that brings Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.

Available in dealerships from April, the update sees the HR-V and Jazz move to the 2020 Model Year. This will be the last hurrah for the Jazz, it will be cut from the range next year as part of Honda's local restructure

Both cars will get a 7.0-inch infotainment touchscreen to run the smartphone mirroring tech.

The update also adds voice recognition functionality which can activate Siri Eyes Free mode and Google Voice Search. Steering wheel-mounted controls and the microphone button on the head unit are used to access the features.

Both the HR-V and Jazz will also be offered with a five-year, unlimited kilometre warranty as standard with prices starting at $35,490 for the HR-V and $15,490 for the Jazz before on-road costs.
