Honda has announced the HR-V is being offered with three years free scheduled servicing on new and demonstrator models sold in October 2017.

This servicing deal will cover the first three services at 10,000km/12months, 20,000km/24 months and 30,000km/36 months (whichever occurs first in kilometres or months).

Adaptive service items such as pollen filters, normally $44, brake fluid, normally $54, and CVT fluid, normally $187, will all be covered under the promotional deal.

In 2017 Honda have continually looked to add value to its range, the brand made the move to a five-year warranty earlier this year.

This offer is valued at $1,165. There is a minor catch, for demonstrator HR-Vs to qualify for the deal, the odometer is capped at 2000km.

If the new HR-V is sold within the three years/30,000kms the deal is transferable to the new owner, with all scheduled servicing being able to be carried out at any of the 107 national Honda dealers.

Honda Australia Director, Mr. Stephen Collins said: “With our recently announced 5-year, unlimited warranty program, and this special HR-V offer, Honda is continuing to put the customer at the centre of everything we do.”

“The HR-V is one of our top-selling models and the added value and surety of free scheduled servicing will appeal to budget-conscious buyers.”

“We know the Australian compact SUV segment is one of the most competitive and we want to ensure the HR-V continues its popularity as one of the country’s favourite compact SUVs.”

The Honda HR-V range has just undergone an equipment upgrade and now includes satellite-navigation, an updated audio system and a 7-inch screen. It also features the 60/40 split ‘Magic Seats’ which allow for 18 different rear seat positions to suit various cargo-carrying needs.

The Honda HR-V is available in four models, the VTi, VTi-S, VTi-L and VTi-L + ADAS all driven by a 1.8-litre i-VTEC four-cylinder engine developing 105kW/172Nm.
