Owners of the previous generation Peugeot 3008 SUV sold between December 2016 and July 2017 should contact their nearest dealer after the French maker issued a recall.

A problem has been discovered where friction may occur between the fuel pipe and shield which could result in leaking fuel. This brings the risk of the leaked fuel igniting with catastrophic results.

Peugeot Australia will be contacting known owners by mail with advice to contact an authorised Peugeot dealer. An additional sheath will be fitted to the pipe with any damaged pipes replaced.
