Peugeot and Citroen Australia (PCA) has introduced a five-year unlimited kilometre warranty with five-year roadside assist across all of its passenger vehicle range.
The new warranty is effective immediately and will be retrospectively applied to any MY18 vehicles already sold and be completely transferable between owners.
Managing Director of Peugeot and Citroen Australia, Anouk Poelmann said, “From design to engineering and manufacture, efforts at all levels of the business have focused on quality, durability and reliability – and this new five-year warranty underscores our confidence in the new-generation of Peugeot and Citroen product.”
The program will bring together warranty, roadside assist and service plans under the Peugeot Prestige banner while naming of the Citroen program will known later this year.
Peugeot has recently dabbled in a promotional seven-year warranty with its Summer of Tennis Avantage Editions.
Peugeot and Citroen commercial vehicles will retain the standard three-year/100,000km warranty.
Five-year warranty coverage is fast becoming the standard, and as such, this is a good move and is sure to remove one of the main barriers to going French in Australia.
