Porsche has confirmed the Mission E Cross Turismo concept car will go into production making it the second electric car to get the green light. The new production is set to create over 300 additional jobs at the Zuffenhausen headquarters.
 
After a successful 2018 Geneva Motor Show outing the four-door Cross Turismo, which is built on an 800-volt architecture derived from the new Taycan, will take Porsche a step closer towards their electrified goal.

Full details are yet to be released however Porsche is touting a system output of around 440kW with a driving range of up to 500km.
 
The Mission E Cross Turismo will be Porsche’s first purely electric SUV and will join the electric Taycan which is scheduled to be launched in 2019.
