Busy Brisbane welcomed the first fleet of brand new Mazda CX-5s Tuesday in time for the national launch.

After two weeks at sea 1,200 of the first Australian-spec Next-Gen SUVs rolled off the ship, ready to disperse across the country.

The class-leading CX-5s have been long awaited as Mazda Australia’s marketing director Alastair Doak commented, “Never has Mazda seen such a response from potential buyers wanting information on a new vehicle.”

The new CX-5 comes in five grades, adding the ‘Touring’ spec to the line-up. There is also the option of three engines and two transmission types on offer but the jewel in the crown is the new and improved i-ACTIVSENSE safety technology.

A strong focus on comfort and driving experience via reduced cabin noise and G-Vectoring Control has also been promised by Mazda. The Next-Gen Mazda CX-5 will feature the SKYACTIVE Technology, i-ACTIV AWD and ‘KODO - Soul of Motion’ design language.

With launch activities happening around the country keep your eye out at your local dealership for the Next-Gen CX-5.
