Volkswagen Australia has confirmed the diesel-powered Tiguan Allspace 140TDI will return to local showrooms in October priced from $54,690 plus on-road costs.
A diesel engine has been missing from the Tiguan Allspace range due to WLTP-related production restrictions.
The 140TDI is powered by a 2.0-litre four-cylinder turbo-diesel engine producing 140kW of power and 400Nm of torque. It’s matched to a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission that sends power to all four corners through the 4Motion all-wheel drive system.
Specifications mirror that of the 162TSI Highline variant. A full list of equipment highlights is included below.
The Tiguan Allspace 140TDI is available to order now with deliveries set to commence in October as part of a small allocation of MY20 vehicles. The full allocation of MY21 vehicles will begin arriving from early November.
