The 2018 Subaru BRZ sport coupe range will see the addition of a new range-topping tS variant and an infotainment system upgrade.
 
On sale now, every MY18 BRZ variant will feature a six-speaker, third generation 7.0-inch touchscreen infotainment unit which includes satellite navigation, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility, Bluetooth connectivity and a Graphical User Interface (GUI) with smartphone-like usability.
 
The new top-of-the-line BRZ tS brings a host of sporty features including Sachs suspension, Brembo brakes with red painted callipers, STI coil springs, flexible V-shaped bar, flexible draw stiffener, black finish 18-inch STI alloy wheels, exclusive front bumper, including grille with tS badge, black rear spoiler, mirrors and shark-fin roof mounted antenna, tS and STI exterior badging.
 
These features combine to deliver sharper handling and linear response as well as improved roll stability and ride comfort for the BRZ tS.
 
The interior of the tS gets red highlights and a tS logo added to Alcantara seat trim, Grand Luxe door panel trim and dashboard highlight, an STI steering wheel featuring black with red accents, red seat belts and push-button starter with STI logo, which also appears in the instrument cluster.
 
2018 BRZ models will be available in Crystal white pearl, Ice silver metallic, Dark grey metallic, Crystal black silica, WR blue pearl, Lapis blue pearl, Pure red and for BRZ tS models only, Cool grey.
 
This announcement brings the BRZ into line with Toyota’s recent upgrades and pricing release for the virtually identical 86 coupe which also get Sachs dampers and Brembo brakes.
