Mitsubishi has announced an Eclipse Cross Sport Edition, based on the new entry-level ES will be available in limited numbers priced from $30,990 plus on-road costs.
 
Exterior styling enhancements found on the Eclipse Cross Sport Edition includes a black grille, black door mirror covers plus a red pinstripe has been applied to the side and corner skirts. The interior is carried over from the ES model.
 
The 1.5-litre turbocharged petrol engine producing 110kW and 250Nm matched to CVT automatic transmission from the regular Eclipse Cross range will power the Sport Edition.
 
A limited run of 1000 units have been released and are available at dealerships now priced from $30,990 plus on-road costs, which represents a $1000 premium over the $29,990 ES variant.
