The updated 2019 Nissan Juke will now come with more standard equipment plus the option to include a range of personalisation options to individualise the small SUV.

For 2019 two variants – the entry-level ST and high-spec Ti-S will be available, plus three Ti-S myJuke personalisation pack options.

Entry level ST variants will see a darker chrome V-Motion front grille and smoked finish headlights, tail lights and indicators added. There will also be LED fog lamps, white meter lighting and new premium graphite coloured cloth seat trim.

It will also carry over halogen headlights, LED daylight running lamps, Nissan Dynamic Control System offering three drive modes, auto off headlights, Bluetooth, USB connectivity, climate control air conditioning, two ISOFIX points along with a leather-accented steering wheel and gear selector.

Top-spec Ti-S models add new 18-inch black gloss alloy wheels and carries over auto-fold side mirrors, heated seats, intelligent key with push button engine start, a 5.8-inch touchscreen display, sat nav with traffic monitoring and digital radio.

Standard kit for the Ti-S also includes lane departure warning, blind spot warning and a 360-degree camera system with moving object detection.

Disappointingly, safety tech such as autonomous emergency braking and adaptive cruise control are unavailable on the Juke meaning it wouldn’t qualify for a five-star safety rating under the new ANCAP testing regime.

Ti-S variants are also able to be optioned with the myJuke personalisation packs which add colour highlights to the front and rear bumper, alloy wheel inserts and mirror caps. Three colours are available being Power Blue, Energy Orange and Tokyo Glossy Black all adding $800 to the price tag.

The interior centre console, side vent and door panel finishers, as well as the stitching above the instrument cluster, will also match the exterior highlight colour.

Two new exterior paint options have been added to the palette taking the total to seven. Joining Ivory Pearl, Pearl Black, Platinum, Gun Metallic and Magnetic Red are Arctic White and Vivid Blue.

Two engine and two transmission options are available. A 1.2-litre turbocharged engine offers 85kW/190Nm whilst a 1.6-litre turbocharged engine offers 140kW/240Nm.

Both grades are sold with a 6-speed manual transmission with the Ti-S variant also available with a CVT and all-wheel drive.

The 2019 Nissan Juke will go on sale from October 1, 2018, priced from $23,490 plus on-road costs.
