SsangYong Australia has confirmed specifications and pricing for the 2019 Musso ute range, the diesel-powered dual-cab will launch in November priced from $30,490 drive-away.
 
The Musso will be offered in three trim levels – EX, EXL and Ultimate. All models will be backed by a Kia equalling seven-year, unlimited kilometre warranty with seven years roadside assistance and capped-price servicing.
 
Every Musso is powered by a  2.2-litre turbo-diesel engine producing 133kW and 400Nm. The entry-level EX is available with a six-speed manual, a six-speed automatic is optional on the base car and standard on the EXL and Ultimate.
 
Significantly, all variants get autonomous emergency braking and forward collision warning as standard.
 
Gross combined mass is listed as 6.75 tonnes, with a tow rating of 3.0 tonnes, SsangYong has stated the brand is working to homologate a 3.5-tonne rating to bring the Musso into line with the market standard.
 
For $30,490 drive-away, the EX is equipped with, fabric seats, Bluetooth connectivity, a limited slip differential and full-size spare wheel. Buyers will need to add $2000 to the drive-away price for the automatic transmission.
 
Moving to the mid-range EXL ($35,990 drive-away) brings 18-inch alloy wheels, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, blind spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert and lane change assist.
 
The flagship Ultimate ($39,990 drive-away) adds leather seat trim, heated and ventilated seats, 360-degree camera, sunroof and 20-inch alloy wheels.
