Specs and pricing have been announced for the updated 2021 Genesis G70 range which is available now with prices starting from $63,000 plus on-road costs.

Externally, the updated G70 is distinguished by a lower-set crest grille and quad lamps that bring it into line with the wider Genesis line-up.

Further design changes include new alloy wheels, side air extractors optimised for efficiency, quad lamp taillights inspired by the soaring wings of the Genesis logo, and body-coloured diffusers surround the oval exhaust tips.

On the inside, a new 10.25-inch infotainment system is included and features a valet mode and over-the-air updates.

The 8.0-inch screen in the instrument cluster has been revised, and there’s a larger wireless charging pad with an increased output of 15kW and an integrated cooling fan.

Buyers are still offered a choice of two engines. The G70 2.0T gets a 2.0-litre four-cylinder turbocharged unit producing 179kW of power and 353Nm of torque.

The flagship 3.3T Sport uses a twin-turbocharged 3.3-litre V6 producing 274kW of power and 510Nm of torque.

Both engines are matched to an eight-speed torque-converter automatic transmission and rear-wheel drive.

Dimensionally, the updated G70 measures 4685mm long, 1850mm wide and 1400mm tall, with a 2835mm wheelbase. The luggage space is rated at 330L.
