The updated 2021 Kia Stinger has been revealed featuring a range of design updates inside and out.

Externally, Kia’s signature ‘tiger-nose’ grille sits between new multifaceted reflector LED headlamps and LED daytime running lights. The lamps have a darker look when not in use and feature a fresh light signature.

There’s also a new light signature at the rear and new turn signals comprising of 10 individual LED units each. Kia says the LEDs are arranged in a grid pattern to mimic the appearance of a checkered flag.

Depending on the market, buyers will be able to option a wide-bore bright silver exhaust with a performance-inspired rear diffuser for a more muscular look.

Buyers will also get new 18- and 19-inch alloy wheel designs and a revised colour palette.

On the inside, the lower section of the steering wheel features a new metallic finish, as does the bezel that surrounds the 7.0-inch digital instrument cluster.

The rear-view mirror is now frameless while higher grades will get contrast stitching on the dashboard and doors, along with aluminium or carbon fibre-style trim.

Kia has also equipped the Singer with an upgraded 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system and ambient lighting with 64 colours.

At this stage, Kia is yet to confirm powertrain details for the updated Stinger or when it will be available locally, however, it’s expected in showrooms later this year.
