The streamlined and slightly updated 2020 Kia Stinger range is now on sale in Australia.

Kia has dropped the mid-level 200Si and 330Si variants from the local portfolio.

For 2020 the Stinger gets an additional layer of NVH insulation in the roof lining, while GT-Line and GT variants add a heated steering wheel.

There’s also the option of a new exterior paint finish - bright Sunset Orange, which looks very similar to the Federation Orange that features on the US only Stinger GTS.

In terms of pricing, the 330S and GT V6 models have risen by $200 and $300, which brings the new list price to $50,190 (plus on-roads) and $60,790 (plus on-roads) respectively.

The range opens with the four-cylinder 200S ($47,190 plus on-roads), standard kit includes 18-inch alloy wheels, autonomous emergency braking with pedestrian detection, adaptive cruise control, forward collision warning, lane keep assist, driver attention alert, launch control, and a 7.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system that includes sat-nav, digital radio, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.

Along with the turbocharged V6 engine, moving to the 330S brings Brembo brakes and a mechanical limited-slip differential.

The GT-Line (2.0-litre turbo) and GT (turbo V6) models feature 19-inch wheels, adaptive dampers, a 360-degree camera, blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, heated and ventilated front seats, a colour head-up display, suede headliner, powered sunroof, wireless smartphone charger, a 15-speaker harman/kardon premium audio system and a larger 8.0-inch infotainment touchscreen.

The range-topping GT model adds Nappa leather sports seats, Michelin Pilot Sport 4 rubber and unique menus for digital driver's display and infotainment system.

200S - $47,190
330S - $50,190
