Details of the updated 2021 Subaru XV range have been announced with the small SUV gaining revised styling and additional equipment.
For 2021, pricing starts at $29,690 plus on-road costs for the 2.0i and tops out at $40,790 plus on-roads for the Hybrid S.
Externally, the updated XV is distinguished by a new grille, front bumper, fog light surround and alloy wheel designs.
The 2.0i Premium AWD is now equipped with the full suite of active safety features as standard, while the 2.0i-S gets a slightly restyled cabin.
2.0i-S and Hybrid S variants also add a front and side-view monitor.
Underneath, all XV models feature a revised suspension set-up with new front coil springs and retuned dampers for better ride quality.

Power in the petrol XV models comes from a 2.0-litre flat-four engine producing 115kW of power and 196Nm of torque. It’s matched to a CVT automatic and all-wheel drive.
XV Hybrid variants use a 2.0-litre flat-four petrol engine making 110kW and 196Nm, combined with a 12.3kW/66Nm electric motor. It’s also paired with a CVT automatic and all-wheel drive.
