The Renault Koleos  Initiale special edition is now available in Australia priced from $49,490 drive-away.

The Initiale special edition sits above the Intens variant and is differentiated from other Koleos models by an exclusive metallic paint colour – Black Amethyst – and 19-inch alloy wheels.

It also features Renault’s Pure Vision LED headlights, power tailgate, a panoramic electric sunroof, heated and ventilated front seats, automatic dusk-sensing headlights, automatic windscreen wipers, automatic dual-zone climate control and an 8.7-inch infotainment system featuring satellite navigation, Apple CarPlay and Andriod Auto.

The interior also sees the inclusion of distinct stitching for the leather upholstery.

Renault has included its Advanced Driver Assist System (ADAS) as standard which brings autonomous braking, blind spot monitoring and lane departure warning.

Power comes from a 2.5-litre naturally-aspirated 126kW/226Nm petrol engine that’s also found under the bonnet of other Koleos models and the Nissan X-Trail.

The engine is matched to a continuously variable transmission that sends power to an on-demand all-wheel drive system.

The Koleos is an important model for Renault Australia, it’s the brand’s best-selling model accounting for 29 per cent of local sales.
