Specs and pricing have been announced for the updated 2020 Alfa Romeo Giulia range.
 
The line-up now consists of three models including the new entry-level Sport variant, followed by the Veloce and Quadrifoglio.
 
Pricing starts at $63,950 plus on-road costs for the Sport and tops out at $138,950 plus on-roads for the flagship Quadrifoglio.
 
All variants get a safety boost with Traffic Sign Recognition, Intelligent Speed Control, Active Blind Spot Assist and Driver Attention Assist. Automatic High Beam Assist and Active Cruise Control now standard across the range.
 
Every model also gets a larger 8.8-inch infotainment touchscreen with satellite navigation, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
 
Moving to the powertrains, the entry-level Giulia Sport uses 2.0-litre four-cylinder turbocharged petrol engine producing 147kW of power and 330Nm of torque. Alfa Romeo says it can sprint from 0-100km/h in 6.6 seconds.
 
The Giulia Veloce is also equipped with a 2.0-litre four-cylinder turbocharged petrol engine, however, it develops 206kW and 400Nm. The extra power cuts the 0-100km/h dash to 5.8 seconds.
 
The flagship Giulia Quadrifoglio packs a 2.9-litre twin-turbocharged V6 engine producing 375kW of power and 600Nm of torque. According to Alfa Romeo, it can hit triple figures in 3.9 seconds which matches the new M3 Competition.
 
Every Giulias comes standard with an eight-speed automatic transmission and rear-wheel drive.
