Specs and pricing have been announced for the 2021 Mercedes-AMG GT headlined by a new Night Edition that opens the range.
  
Limited to 15 units and priced from $294,200 plus on-road costs, the Night Edition is available in Coupe form and slots underneath the GT C model.
 
Every model in the range is powered by a 4.0-litre twin-turbocharged V8 engine, in the GT Night Edition, it outputs 390kW of power and 670Nm of torque.
 
In the GT C, the V8 is tuned to produce 410kW and 680Nm, while the flagship GT R gets 430kW and 700Nm.
 
All variants use a seven-speed automatic transmission to drive the rear wheels.
 
Performance-wise, the GT Night Edition hits 100km/h in 3.8 seconds, the GT C takes 3.7 seconds, and the GT R hits 100km/h in 3.6 seconds.
