Skoda has come up trumps in the latest Roy Morgan customer satisfaction survey achieving the highest customer satisfaction rating for the entire automotive industry with a rating of 97.5 per cent.

Joining the likes of Lexus, who took out the ‘Car Manufacturer of the Year’ earlier in 2018, Skoda’s rating sits well above the industry average of 92.6 per cent.

Interestingly, car manufacturers have the highest customer satisfaction of all 32 industries participating in the Roy Morgan customer satisfaction survey.

The findings for the survey are based on the Roy Morgan Single Source survey of over 50,000 consumers. This includes over 40,000 in-depth personal interviews with car drivers.

Director of Skoda Australia, Michael Irmer, commented: "Anecdotally, we already know our customers love the Skoda product and our unique suite of 'Simply Clever' features; but it's extremely pleasing to have this confirmed in an independent industry-wide survey."

After moving to a five-year warranty, Skoda sales in 2017 set a new record in Australia with the brand expecting to top that again in 2018 by selling more than 6,000 new cars.
