A single recall has been issued which comes from recall-king Mercedes-Benz concerning 2018-2020 AMG C63, C63 S, GT 63 S and GLC63 vehicles (VINs found here).

 

A software fault has been detected which may see the electronic stability program (ESP) control unit incorrectly programmed for the type of brake in the vehicle.

 

This incorrect programming may lead to an inappropriate ESP response in some driving situations which could increase the risk of an accident occurring resulting in injuries or fatality of vehicle occupants and other road users.

 

Owners of vehicles affected by the recall notice are asked to immediately contact their preferred Mercedes-Benz dealer to arrange a free repair.
