Mercedes-AMG has announced the availability of the limited-run C63 S Coupe Aero Edition 63.

Limited to 63 examples, the C63 S Aero Edition 63 is priced from $188,600 plus on-road costs.

According to AMG, the Aero Edition 63 features wind-tunnel-tested aerodynamic extras to increase downforce and grip, including an exclusive AMG Performance rear spoiler, a unique front lip, an aerodynamically optimised diffuser, and additional side facings for the air vents in the rear apron.

The front apron, side sill inserts, diffuser insert, rear spoiler, and the exterior mirror housings are all carbon-fibre additions.

The Aero Edition 63 also adds AMG’s ceramic front braking system, featuring 402 x 39mm discs with six-piston fixed calipers up front, while the rear uses 360 x 26mm discs with one-piston combined floating calipers.

Speaking of the calipers, they’re finished in a distinctive gold paint with ‘AMG Carbon Ceramic’ lettering. Staggered matte black mixed alloy wheels (19-inch for the front wheels, and 20-inch at the rear) are also standard.

Buyers have the choice of two exterior colours: Polar White or Iridium Silver.

Moving to the cabin, buyers get carbon-fibre trim on the centre console, aluminium inserts across the dashboard and doors, an AMG Performance steering wheel clad in carbon-fibre and Dinamica, AMG Performance front seats upholstered in magma grey and black Nappa leather with yellow stripes.

Further yellow detailing highlights are found on the rear seats, centre console, dashboard and doors.

The 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8 is producing 375kW and 700Nm is carried over, it’s matched to a nine-speed automatic transmission that drives the rear wheels. AMG claims the C63 S can sprint from 0-100km/h in 3.9 seconds.

The C63 S Coupe Aero Edition 63 is available to order now.
