Updates to the 2018 Nissan Juke have been detailed for the European market this week with changes to both the exterior and interior.
 
Available in four grades – Visia, Acenta, N-Connecta and Teckna - the updated Nissan Juke has received a host of visual and practical enhancements.
 
At the front of the car can be found a new dark chrome V-motion grille, dark headlamp interior and dark indicators located on the door mirrors whilst from the Acenta grade up LED fog lamps are now standard.
 
Adding to this the new Juke range gets three new 16- and 18-inch alloy wheel designs from the Acenta grade up with Tekna grade wheels bringing the option of coloured inserts through the personalisation program.
 
Also part of the personalisation program is the option of coloured front and rear bumper finishers, doors side sills and mirror caps as an optional extra for N-Connecta and Tekna grades.
 
Body colours will now include Vivid Blue and Chestnut Bronze.
 
Internally a BOSE Personal audio sound system delivers 360-degree sound through BOSE digital signal processing with six high-performance speakers. This includes two BOSE UltraNearfield speakers which are built into the headrest of the driver seat.
 
Interior improvements also include two new personalisation colours in Energy Orange and Power Blue which are applied to the central console, air vents, door inserts and seat upholstery. N-Connecta and Tekna grades have standard interior personalisation included.
 
A higher grade of steering wheel leather is included and improved visual clarity on the combimeter is achieved with a new white-on-black information display.
 
Acenta grade Jukes gain above the standard equipment the Nissan Dynamic Control System, front fog lamps, cruise control with speed limiter, automatic air-conditioning, privacy glass, USB port and Bluetooth connectivity.
 
Moving to the N-Connecta grade extra kit includes the NissanConnect infotainment system, rear parking camera, Nissan Intelligent Key with push-button start, electrically folding door mirrors, part-leather seats and automatic headlights.
 
The top-of-the-line Tekna grade also gains adds Lane Departure Warning, Blind Spot Warning, Intelligent Around View Monitor, full leather heated front seats and the BOSE Personal sound system.
 
Lower grades can also select some of the standard features from the N-Connecta and Tekna grades as optional extras.
 
The new 2018 Nissan Juke goes on sale in Europe in May, Nissan Australia is yet to confirm local specifications and pricing, meaning the three Aussies that may buy a new Juke will need to stay tuned.
