The 2019 Audi A4 sedan and wagon have been revealed, the refreshed model is due in Australia early next year and consists largely of exterior styling changes.

Changes to the exterior include a new pentagonal contour around the exterior air inlets, which feature their own aluminium-look bars, and the Singleframe grille highlights the difference between equipment lines.

At the back end, the rear bumper is revised, now featuring two wide trapezoidal exhaust tailpipes with a narrower diffuser in between. Wheel sizes also vary from 16- to 19-inches with new designs available.

The S Line exterior package will come with sports-inspired bumpers featuring a wedge-shaped design, and a U-shaped clip separating the exterior and interior with a honeycomb grille with a 3D look.

Added to the line-up for the first time on the A4 is the S Line Competition package which brings to the exterior a blade in the front bumper, ‘selenite silver’ stone-chip guard strip, RS rear spoiler (wagon only), silver or black four-ring logo, 19-inch wheels, red brake calipers, sports suspension, LED headlights and new Turbo Blue exterior paint.

Internally, the S Line Competition package adds RS carbon inlays, a three-spoke multifunction steering wheel and black partial leather sports seats with the option of upgrading to S sport seats in various colours.

Full specifications and pricing, including mechanical details, are yet to be confirmed, however, the current range opens at $56,100 plus on-roads for the 1.4TFSI sedan.
