A limited run of 2019 Jeep Grand Cherokee S-Limited and S-Overland models has been announced with both featuring a focus on performance and style.
 
Based on the mid-range mid-spec Limited variant, the S-Limited adds an SRT performance sports hood, granite crystal finished grille and 20-inch alloys, gloss black roof rails and body-coloured cladding.
 
Only two exterior colour options are available: Bright White and Diamond Black.
 
Internally, the S-Limited features unique “Heritage” leather-trimmed seats paired with Liquid Titanium accents and a dual-pane panoramic sunroof.
 
Priced from $71,450 plus on-roads, Jeep claims the S-Limited offers over $15,000 worth of upgrades for an $8500 premium.
 
Power comes from a 5.7-litre HEMI V8 engine producing 259kW/520Nm and sending drive to all four corners with a 3500kg maximum braked towing capacity.
 
The Grand Cherokee S-Overland builds on the regular Overland spec sheet by adding 20-inch Granite Crystal alloys, LED fog lamps, dual black chrome trapezoidal exhaust tips and bespoke Granite Crystal fascia and appliqués.
 
On the inside, buyers get SRT black Nappa leather seats with black axis perforated suede inserts, suede door bolsters and a 19-Speaker Harmon Kardon sound system.
 
Power comes from a 184kW/570Nm 3.0-litre V6 turbocharged diesel engine which also sends drive to all four wheels with a 3500kg towing capacity.
 
The S-Overland is priced from $82,950 plus on-road costs, Jeep claims the additional equipment nets buyers $9000 worth of value for a spend of $4500.
 
Only 100 units of the S-Limited and 120 examples of the S-Overland will be available nationally.
