Maserati has confirmed seven units of the Levante Vulcano have been allocated to Australia priced from $184,990 plus on-road costs.

Differentiating the Levante Vulcano from the rest of the pack is "Grigio Lava" matte paint and a choice of red Pieno Fiore leather with black stitching, or black Pieno Fiore leather with red stitching for the interior.

Based on the Levante GranSport, the Vulcano features the Nerissimo Collection with dark look rear light clusters, black chrome front grille and logos, gloss black window surrounds, laminated privacy windows, 21-inch Helios wheels with red brake calipers and six-piston Brembo Dual Cast braking system, body-coloured door handles and burnished exhaust tailpipes.

Internally borrowing from the GranSport sees the Levante Vulcano fitted with heated and ventilated sports seats, featuring electrical adjustment with memories along with contrasting embroidered Trident logo on the headrests.

There are also high gloss carbon-fibre inserts on the sport steering wheel and gearshift paddles. Also standard is a chromed aluminium badge on the centre console bearing the legendary Trident, along with the Vulcano logo and the unique identifier with the words "one of 150".

Adding a touch of luxury is the Bowers&Wilkins premium sound system, soft-close doors, front and rear parking sensors and full-LED Matrix adaptive headlights.

The 2019 Maserati Levante Vulcano limited edition is powered by a 275kW/500Nm twin-turbo V6 engine. The 0 to 100km/h dash takes 6.0 seconds on the way to a top speed of 251km/h.

An eight-speed automatic transmission sends power to all four wheels through the brand’s Q4 system that includes a rear limited-slip differential.

The seven units of the 2019 Maserati Levante Vulcano are available to order now from $184,990 plus on-road costs.
