Nissan has announced a limited-run of X-Trail N-Trek editions will be offered locally from $38,700 plus on-road costs.
 
Based off the mid-spec ST-L grade, the N-Trek gets larger 19-inch alloy wheels, an 8-speaker Bose audio system, a smoked colour bonnet protector, front and rear weather shields, front and rear kick plates and carpet mats.
 
Equipment carried over from the ST-L includes black leather-accented seat trim and steering wheel, heated front seats, dual-zone climate control, cruise control, and a 7.0-inch infotainment touchscreen with Bluetooth, DAB+ digital radio and satellite navigation with traffic monitoring.
 
Standard safety kit includes autonomous emergency braking, forward collision warning, blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, a 360-degree camera with moving object detection, and a rear-view camera.
 
Nissan has confirmed it will offer 500 units of the X-Trail N-Trek with the option of front and all-wheel drive ($40,700 plus on-roads).
 
Powers comes from a 2.5-litre petrol engine producing 126kW and 226Nm, it’s matched to a CVT automatic
