Ram Trucks Australia has confirmed the availability of the Ram 1500 Black Pack after the variant was first announced in June last year.

Based on the Ram 1500 Express Quad Cab, the Black Pack adds 20-inch black alloy wheels, black front and rear bumpers, a black grille, darkened headlights and black badging.

Opting for the Black Pack on the standard Express sees the price rise to $84,950 plus on-road costs, adding the very clever RamBoxes to the tray will see this rise to $89,450 before on-roads.

Dealers can also fit a Sports Exhaust System for $3266.56 plus fitting. Incidentally, this option is also available to existing owners.

Power comes from the 5.7-litre HEMI V8 found across the range developing 291kW and 556Nm. Power is sent to all four wheels via an eight-speed automatic transmission.

Down the back, there’s a 6'4" tray and a standard heavy duty tow bar. The Ram 1500 can tow up to 4.5 tonnes.
