Aston Martin has announced local pricing for its upcoming DBX SUV along with a teaser image of the interior.

Australian buyers will pay $357,000 plus on-road costs for the marques first SUV when it arrives in 2020.

The first glimpse of the interior shows a bridged centre console that offers a “floating aesthetic” with storage space underneath for larger items such as a handbag or large 1.5-litre water bottles.

Interestingly, instead of the floating design used in the new Vantage, the infotainment touchscreen is integrated into the dash.

Aston Martin says the cabin provides the driver with “an instant and relaxed confidence” and rewarding “dynamic performance.”

The British marque has previously confirmed the DBX will feature an AMG sourced 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8 which develops 405kW and 700Nm. It’s likely to be paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission. Aston Martin claims a top speed of 290km/h has been consistently achieved throughout testing.

The Aston Martin DBX is scheduled to be revealed on November 20.
