After a long wait, the updated 2020 Audi Q7 range has arrived in Australia priced from $101,900 plus on-road costs.

At launch, Audi is offering the Q7 in three trim levels: 45 TDI quattro, 50 TDI quattro and 50 TDI quattro S line.

The 45 TDI and 50 TDI variants share standard equipment including matrix LED headlights, 19-inch alloy wheels, adaptive air suspension, three-zone climate control, ambient interior lighting, front seat heating, a 12.3-inch virtual cockpit, and the dual-screen MMI navigation plus infotainment system (10.1-inch upper screen and 8.6-inch lower screen).

A 360-degree camera system, autonomous emergency braking, adaptive cruise control with speed limiter, lane departure warning and intersection assist are also standard.

All Q7 variants are powered by a 3.0-litre V6 turbo-diesel featuring 48-volt mild hybrid technology. In the 45 TDI it’s tuned to develop 170kW and 500Nm, while the 50 TDI models get 210kW and 500Nm. Power is sent to the quattro all-wheel drive system through an eight-speed automatic transmission.

The range-topping 50 TDI quattro S line (from $119,900 plus on-roads) adds 21-inch alloy wheels, S line front and rear bumpers, titanium black radiator grille with matte aluminium silver vertical blades, S line roof spoiler, S line badges on front fenders and privacy glass.

On the inside, the S line trim gets front sport seats in Valcona leather upholstery with S embossing, brushed aluminium accents, illuminated aluminium door sills with S logo, an S line steering wheel, and a 558-watt Bose 3D sound system with 19 speakers including subwoofer.

The 50 TDI S line model rides 15mm lower and gets a firmer suspension calibration.

Buyers can also opt for an Audi service plan priced at $2310 for three years or $3190 for five years.
