Holden has revealed an updated 2020 Colorado range headlined by the permanent addition of the LSX variant.

 

The LSX moniker has previously been reserved for special edition models, as a permanent offering, it will sit between the LS and LTZ.

 

Priced $46,990 plus on-roads, the LSX is differentiated by a black styling pack that includes fender flares, an extended sports bar, grille and 18-inch alloy wheels. There’s also DAB radio, tailgate locking and a soft tonneau cover.

 

The volume-selling LTZ grade gains leather seat trim with heating up front and a premium DuraGuard spray-in tub liner.

 

Holden has also added a new fleet-focused LTZ+ variant, it’s equipped with a tow bar while the payload has been re-rated to just under 1000kg - meaning it is now accessible to customers seeking to acquire a Colorado via novated leasing.

 

At the business end of the range, the Z71 also gets the spray-in tub-liner along with rugged fender flares, a bash plate and a soft drop tailgate.

All Colorado models are powered by the familiar 2.8-litre four-cylinder Duramax turbo-diesel engine producing 147kW and 500Nm. Depending on the grade, it’s matched to a six-speed manual or automatic transmission.
