Lexus Australia has confirmed the ES300h F Sport will be available locally in October bringing new styling and a much-needed infotainment update.
 
Aside from the F Sport option, the updated ES300h range will now feature Apple CarPlay and Android Auto as standard and displayed on a 12.3-inch infotainment screen.
 
F Sport variants are differentiated by a sharper bumper profile, 19-inch alloy wheels, F Sport fender badging and triple-beam LED headlamps with sequential turn indicators and adaptive high beam.
 
Underneath, the F Sport gets Adaptive Variable Suspension (AVS) which isn't available on other ES300h models.
 
Inside, there’s a unique F Sport 8.0-inch driver display, contoured and F Sport-embossed front seats, perforated-leather F Sport steering wheel and Hadori aluminium ornamentation.
 
Along with aforementioned smartphone mirroring, wireless smartphone charging, satellite navigation, voice control, DAB+ digital radio and a 10-speaker audio system are included.
 
Buyers have a unique choice of Flare Red and Black interior trim colours, each with a black headliner. Both can be matched to the new Cobalt Mica exterior paint which is exclusive to the F-Sport.
 
Key equipment carried over from the wider ES300h line-up includes a smart key card, head-up display, dual-zone climate control air-conditioning, a moonroof, automatic dusk-sensing headlamps, automatic rain-sensing wipers and 10-way power-adjustable front seats with heating.
 
Additionally, the F Sport also gets blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, a panoramic view monitor, ventilated front seats, driver’s seat memory and an electric rear sunshade.
 
Every ES300h uses the same hybrid powertrain consisting of a 2.5-litre four-cylinder Atkinson cycle petrol engine and an electric motor to produce 160kW.
 
The ES300h F Sport is set to be available in dealerships nationwide from October, pricing will be announced closer to the launch date.
