The 2020 Mini Clubman has been revealed this week sporting a modified design, extended selection of standard equipment and more technology.
 
Design highlights of the updated Clubman include a newly designed grille, split doors, domed bonnet, circular headlamps with chrome surround (optional Piano Black available), integrated daytime driving lights, new air inlet structure, hexagonal grid pattern at the front and LED rear lights with chrome surrounds.
 
Three new body finishes are available – Indian Summer Red metallic, British Racing Green metallic or the Mini Yours Enigmatic Black metallic. The roof and exterior mirror caps can also be finished in black, silver or white.
 
The new Mini Clubman will ride on 16- or 17-inch alloys with the option of 18-inch Multiray Spoke 2-tone and Mini Yours British Spoke two-tone wheels and 19-inch light alloy wheels in John Cooper Works Circuit Spoke two-tone design.
 
The list of options available is extensive, in addition to those already mentioned there are adaptive LED headlamps with Matrix high beam, LED fog lamps, sports suspension, adaptive suspension and a piano black exterior finish for the surrounds of the headlights, rear lights and radiator grille also available.
 
The Mini Yours programme which offers the array of individualisation features also extends to the inside where Clubman owners can opt to personalise their vehicle with a Mini Yours sports steering wheel and Leather Lounge Carbon Black seat upholstery with Union Jack motif.
 
Globally, six engine options are available including two three-cylinder and one four-cylinder petrol engines and one three-cylinder and two four-cylinder diesel units, in Australia through the existing powertrains are carried over.
 
A 1.5-litre turbocharged three-cylinder petrol offering 100kW/220Nm and a 2.0-litre turbo-four offering 141kW/280Nm will power the Australian range.
 
The new 2020 Mini Clubman will be in Australian showrooms later this year with full pricing to be confirmed closer to launch.
