BMW M will be expanding its network of exclusive showrooms as the demand for high-performance cars and customer expectations increase.
 
Over the last four years, 850 BMW M certified dealers have opened their doors, effectively doubling the previous number of dealers.
 
The brand’s new Performance Munich Autos in Singapore adds to the growing number and will offer BMW M, BMW M Performance and an M specific workshop for customers.
 
Paul de Courtois, Managing Director, BMW Group Asia said, “The new showroom reflects the dynamic character of the BMW M brand and fulfils the wish of many customers for an exclusive retail experience.”
 
In total the area of the new showroom takes up 4,500 square feet, enough space to showcase BMW M models and two BMW Performance models. An Individual Lounge offers customers a space to relax and individualise their car to their hearts desire with a sample of colours, applications and leather upholstery available for reference.
 
Once the car of their dreams arrives a dedicated Delivery Suite provides an individualised handover experience. After all the i’s are dotted and the t’s are crossed customers will enter the darkened Delivery Suite. After a personalised congratulatory message is displayed and a corresponding product video played, the room is gradually illuminated revealing the customer's car.
 
The whole showroom exudes the Future Retail Programme elements with high-class furnishings, exclusively equipped vehicles and innovative digital communication tools which include the Virtual Product Presentation (VPP).
 
The M Customiser App also allows for an easy vehicle customisation experience with vehicle configurations transferred wirelessly to a high-definition display for review, with the assistance of a specially trained ‘BMW Product Genius’.
 
Mercedes-Benz’s performance arm AMG has also started the rollout of stand-alone dealerships with the world’s first recently opening in Sydney.
