Hyundai has confirmed the Kona Iron Man Edition will be available in Australia.

Based on the range-topping Highlander, the Iron Man Edition is differentiated by matte grey exterior paint with a contrast roof and Iron Man accents.

Also included are bespoke bumpers, badging, 18-inch alloy wheels and LED daytime-running-lights that resemble the Marvel character’s eyes.

The cabin features Iron Man graphics on the infotainment system, a unique head-up display and Tony Stark's signature on the dashboard.

The Iron Man additions come on top of the Highlander’s standard equipment list which includes keyless entry and start, leather trim, electronically-adjustable driver’s seat, climate control air conditioning, an 8.0-inch infotainment touchscreen with satellite navigation, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.

There’s only one engine choice, a 1.6-litre turbocharged petrol unit producing 130kW and 265Nm. A seven-speed dual-clutch automatic sends power to all four corners.

Australian pricing is yet to be confirmed, however, the Kona Iron Man Edition is scheduled to arrive in showrooms before the end of March.
