It’s been a quiet week for vehicle recalls with only Ram and Suzuki requiring cars to be returned to dealers.

A large number of 2015-2018 Ram 2500 and 3500 pick-ups (VINs found here) have been recalled due to an issue which may see the drag link nut loosen and separate from the adjuster sleeve. This could cause the steering to become difficult to operate and potentially fail.

Affected owners can expect to be contacted via mail to advise that an appointment needs to be made with an authorised Ram dealer.

Suzuki has issued a recall notice this week pertaining to 2016-2018 Ignis and Baleno models (VINs found here and here).

Recalled vehicles have been supplied with incorrect information in the owner manual in relation to the installation of ISOFIX child restraint system.

Owners will be contacted by mail and should contact their preferred Suzuki dealer for information on the correct installation of an ISOFIX child restraint system.
