Vehicle recall notices issued this week come from McLaren and Ram for a variety of models.

A recall was issued for 2017-2020 McLaren 720S Coupe and Spider, Senna, 570GT and GT models (VINs found here) due to the noise vibration and harshness (NVH) foam pad which is found under the fuel tank potentially trapping moisture leading to corrosion over time of the fuel tank surface.

Corrosion of the fuel tank could lead to fuel vapour or liquid to leak from the fuel tank and increase the risk of a fire occurring.

Affected owners can expect to be contacted to arrange an appointment with a McLaren dealer to have the foam pad removed and the fuel tank inspected free of charge.

A large recall notice has also been issued for 2019-2020 Ram 1500 trucks (VINs found here) which may have a manufacturing defect that causes the windshield wiper arm head joint to strip which could prevent it from operating correctly.

Known owners will be contacted by mail and advised to contact their preferred Ram Truck dealer for a free inspection and repair if necessary.
