Mercedes-Benz has added a new GLC200 entry variant to the GLC SUV range, the new model is priced at $61,990 plus on-roads with deliveries expected to begin in September 2018.
 
The GLC200 uses a  2.0-litre, four-cylinder turbocharged petrol engine that produces 135kW and 300Nm. Power is sent to the rear wheels via a nine-speed automatic transmission.
 
Parking Pilot with a 360-degree camera, an electric tailgate, 7.0-inch infotainment system, satellite navigation, digital radio, keyless start, electric front seats, faux leather trim, LED headlights and 19-inch alloy wheels are all standard.
 
Additionally, Mercedes has equipped the GLC200 with its accident anticipatory system which includes autonomous emergency braking, collision prevention assist, attention assist and blind spot monitoring.
 
Interestingly, the GLC220d variant has been dropped from the SUV and coupe range and is no longer be available to order.
