The 2019 Renault Megane RS Trophy has been revealed, the range-topping Megane is due to arrive in Australia late next year.
 
More power is on offer for the RS Trophy with the 1.8-litre turbo engine developing 224kW of power and 420Nm of torque (an increase of roughly 19kW and 30Nm). Buyers will have the choice of a manual or EDC dual-clutch gearbox.
 
The Magane RS Trophy will also feature the four-wheel steering system as well as four hydraulic bump stop shock absorbers. The standard Cup chassis features stiffer suspension and a Torsen mechanical limited slip differential.
 
Exclusive lighter wheels are available whilst the 19-inch wheels feature high performance Bridgestone tyres and bi-material front brake discs.
 
Other highlights for the RS Trophy include new generation Recaro front seats trimmed in Alcantara, multi-sense system, RS vision and RS monitor.
 
Whilst the new Megane RS 280 will go on sale in Australia from September priced from $44,990 (plus on-roads), the RS Trophy will be launched in Australia in the latter half of 2019 with pricing yet to be confirmed.
