Specs and pricing have been announced for the refreshed 2020 Jeep Grand Cherokee range.

The 2020 lineup sees the previously limited-edition Night Eagle variant become a permanent entry-model replacing the Laredo.

Pricing starts at $59,950 plus on-road costs for the Night Eagle petrol V6 and tops out at $134,950 plus on-road costs for the Trackhawk V8.

All models now get full-speed autonomous emergency braking with forward-collision warning, lane-departure warning, advanced brake assist and automatic high-beams.

Blind-spot monitoring and rear cross-traffic alert are included as standard on all bar the Night Eagle.

In terms of powertrains, the Night Eagle and Limited are fitted with a naturally-aspirated 3.6-litre V6 producing 213kW and 347Nm as standard.

The 184kW/570Nm 3.0-litre turbo-diesel V6 engine is optional on the Night Eagle and standard on the S-Limited, Trailhawk, Overland and Summit models.

At no extra cost, S-Limited buyers can opt for the 5.7-litre naturally-aspirated V8 engine developing 259kW and 520Nm.

The SRT variant gets a 6.4-litre naturally-aspirated petrol V8 that delivers 344kW and 624Nm, while the range-topping Trackhawk uses a supercharged 6.2-litre V8 engine producing 522kW and 868Nm.

Every model in the range gets an eight-speed automatic transmission and four-wheel drive as standard.

Jeep’s Quadra-Trac II four-wheel drive system with a two-speed transfer is included on the Night Eagle, Limited and S-Limited.

Trailhawk, Overland and Summit variants kick things up a notch with the brand’s Quadra-Drive II system that also includes a rear electronic limited-slip differential (e-LSD) and Quadra-Lift air suspension.

The performance-focused SRT and Trackhawk use the Quadra-Trac Active On-Demand four-wheel drive set-up with a one-speed transfer case and a rear e-LSD.
