Land Rover has announced local specifications and pricing for the 2020 Range Rover Evoque line-up which now opens at $62,670 plus on-road costs.

As is the norm with Range Rover, the model range is extensive, there are 26 variants across seven grades with six engine options.

Let’s start with said engines, there are three diesel and three petrol options all from the Ingenium family depending on the trim level. The D150 2.0-litre 110kW/380Nm turbo-diesel opens the range, followed by the D180 which is tuned to deliver 132kW and 430Nm. At the top of the diesel tree is the twin-turbo D240 which produces 177kW and 500Nm.

The range of petrol engines opens with the P200 2.0-litre 147kW/320Nm turbocharged petrol, followed by the P250 which ups the outputs to 183kW/365Nm, while the P300 is good for 221kW and 400Nm.

All engines are matched with a nine-speed automatic transmission that sends torque to all four wheels. For additional off-road capability, the brand’s Terrain Response 2 and All-Terrain Progress Control are included as standard.
