Local specs and pricing have been announced for the 2021 Ford Focus ST-3 ahead of a showroom arrival in the fourth quarter of this year.

Limited to only 200 units nationally, the Focus ST-3 will be offered exclusively with a seven-speed automatic transmission priced from $47,990 plus on-road costs.

Power still comes from a turbocharged 2.3-litre four-cylinder petrol engine with 206kW of power and 420Nm of torque with drive sent to the front wheels.

The ST-3 picks up blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, heated seats and a 10-speaker sound system, all of which were removed from the standard ST when it was updated for the 2021 model year.

Autonomous emergency braking with pedestrian detection, lane-keep assist, adaptive cruise control with stop and go, rear parking sensors, and a rear-view camera are also included as standard.
